“Sold some clocks to Mr. Adams and he also fixed my Sessions Mantle clock. Works really well now !! I've always loved it in our living room on our Cabinet Secretary. When I know we are having guests or family get togethers, I like to wind it and hear it. It's just nice to hear. And until Mr Adam's, it never kept time. It just tick-tocked. But now, thankfully, it's never been better !! It keeps time just fine now !! I will be back, I found another old clock I have and will take it to him.”
— Matthew McKeever“I was very disappointed in the way I was treated at the clock shop. Mr. Adams is not a good record keeper, so if you bring something in to sell on consignment, you better take a photograph of the clock and paperwork confirming that you are the owner of the clock. My clock was on consignment and he did not let me know when it was sold and did not confer with me on the lower price that it was sold for.”
— Jeffrey“I was visiting Bedford and walked into what I thought was a cool looking clock shop. I saw a Galway Irish Crystal I thought would make a great gift. The price was $250 and the owners were quick to get me to checkout. They said it was bought at auction. They appeared to be trustworthy. When I got home, I saw the same piece selling on reputable websites for around $50. Buyer beware. The owners here will try to take advantage of you. If you look to purchase, make sure to price check first.”
— Patrick M“Dropped off an antique clock I inherited from my Great Grandparents for repair. 7 months later it was ready to pick up. I was told the bushings were replaced. Cost $310. The clock will not keep a constant chime (sometimes it chimes other times it just clicks once, then it is out of time). So when I took the clock apart to investigate, I discovered that the problem is the bushings had not been replaced! The clock was only oiled, over oiled is what I found. Attached picture could not attach video. The video shows the gear ends moving way to much, evidence that the bushings were not replaced! Also, he was very rude to my wife when she called to check on the status at the end of the estimated time frame for the repair to be done. Took two months longer than estimated. Poor customer service and paid $310 for bushings to be replaced that nothing was done!”
